blog fun part 2
I think that Phoebe is such and important person to Holden she is still very innocent in his eyes and thats why he is so close to her. In the book Phoebe shows you why Holden is the way he is. It shows you why he hates the grown up world and why he likes children so much. I thinks its because he likes the innocence of children and how they have not been completly molded to the people that the world wants them to be, they are still who they want to be. I just kind of wonder how holden is going to feel about Phoebe when she does start to grow up and become more like everyone else, which I think she already is starting that process. I am not sure if he will like when she does let her innocence go.....while your looking at this you should notice that I bloged last week and change that in powerschool :)

Blog Fun!
Ok so here is the thing....its so werid lately I have been seeing my world through holdens eyes. I have started to notice all the "Phonies", and its weird. I am not as bad as Hodlen to when I think almost everyone is one, but there is deffeintely a lot of them out there if you just open you eyes. From my good freinds to the adults and church I see so many phonies. When he said those things he wasnt being as dramatic as I thought....if you just open your eyes you can start to see what he means.

"The best thing, though, in the museum was that everything always stayed right where it was. Nobody'd move. You could go there a hundred times, and that eskimo would still be just finished catching those two fish, and the birds would be on there way south, the deers would still be drinking ouf of the water hole, with their pretty antlers and their pretty, skinny legs, and the squaw with the naked bosom would still be weaving that same blanket. Nobody'd be different. The only thing that would be different would be you. " -page 121. I think that this passage shows us so much about Holden. It really shows us he is a thinker and has so much more then you assume he is. Deep inside Holden is kind of sensitive in a way. I think that change is something that bothers him, he would perfer things to be like they used to be... he wants to go back to when he was a child I think. I don't blame he his life kind of sucks right now. I just really like that passage/ quote, in a way I think that we all relate to what he is trying to get accross in this and its good stuff.
