Blog Fun!
Ok so here is the thing....its so werid lately I have been seeing my world through holdens eyes. I have started to notice all the "Phonies", and its weird. I am not as bad as Hodlen to when I think almost everyone is one, but there is deffeintely a lot of them out there if you just open you eyes. From my good freinds to the adults and church I see so many phonies. When he said those things he wasnt being as dramatic as I thought....if you just open your eyes you can start to see what he means.

Yeah I agree with you. At first I thought Holden was being a little over dramatic with saying everyone is a phony. Now that I start to see why Holden thinks these people are phonies it starts to make sense to me. I don't think he is as over dramatic as I use to think he was.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you. Ever since reading this book it is almost like I am looking for the phonies in my life. I think that like you most of the phonies are the older people at church. I guess I can really relate to Holden more and more as we go on in the book.
